Aberrant is the upcoming second production shot on Columbia's Virtual Production Studio. I served as VP Supervisor, taking my knowledge from virtual art department and post-production on What Remains to bring this shoot to the next level. I designed the lighthouse environment and served as the go-between for the physical and virtual departments during the shoot. As Colorist my main duty has been to obfuscate the difference between virtual and real, largely through our 4:3 crop and a number of slight film effects to give everything a more tactile feel. Aberrant has yet to premiere, but you can see a few shots on my reel, including a particularly impressive one where we do a pan on an interior where half is virtual and half physical.
